National Runaway and Homeless Youth Prevention Month

On Monday, November 1st, 2022, the Alameda County Board of Supervisors proclaimed November, 2022 as National Runaway and Homeless Youth Prevention Month and affirmed its commitment to ensuring Alameda County develops a well-resourced, coordinated, and supportive continuum of responses to meet the complex and multifaceted needs of young people experiencing homelessness and ultimately end youth homelessness in Alameda County.

Give them their flowers is a photo essay project based in honoring and recognizing some of those most deeply in the struggle yet still here showing up every day.
